Annual Vision Statements

Up Who We Are Our Origins Our Characteristics What We Believe Statement of Faith Vision Statements UCC Symbol Facilities

Each year the congregation chooses a vision statement to emphasize a truth of God.  Members of the congregation nominates statements and then it is voted on at the annual meeting.

"Answering God's Call" (2008) Answering God's call is not just reserved for those large life changing events and decisions. God's call should permeate our lives all of the down to how we response to our neighbors, friends, and family.

"Faith Is the Answer" (2007) Out of 20 different submissions, "Faith is the Answer" was voted in by the congregation. Faith, saving faith in the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ, is the beginning of the acceptance of the soverienty of God in our lives. This enables us to walk a life that will bring glory to our God.

"Let Go and Let God" (2006) This years vision statement may seem to be a clique, but the awesome truth of the matter is that we can.  Image, the sovereign God of the universe wants us to put our matters into his gracious and merciful hand.

"Led by the Spirit" (2005)  The Spirit of God is very present in our congregation and our ministry together.  Ponder what God is 'calling' you to do with your lives; where God is directing you to share your time, talents, treasures, tissue, and trash.  We are a steward to God's gifts to us and through the 'leading of the Holy Spirit' we will live out faithfully the stewardship call of 'loving others as you would like to be loved yourself!'

"Faith Lights the Way" (2004)  Our mission is to offer to others a caring Christian community, as God leads us in our ministry of sharing in worship, in fellowship, in Christian growth, and in service to others.  Faith lights the way.
