New Things are Happening at ECUCC:

Here we are at another turning point in our history. Pastor Ken has moved on and wish him God’s speed in all his endeavors and thank him for his guidance and forward thinking so that we move ahead and do not become stagnet. As he said in his last sermon, "we have to dance and not sit it out".

On September 20^th, Rev. Bill Riegle and family arrived in town and started to settle in the church parsonage with getting used to a routine by checking on the choir and the new confirmands families.

Pastor Bill saw our church in action with the removal of the pine tree to the west of the church and two other pines at the parsonage, which were dying.

Let us all welcome the Riegle family to Big Rock and the ECUCC so we can have a forward looking partnership in the name of God; which will help us in the years ahead to understand His will.

At this time, I again want to thank the Search Committee for their dedication and work that brought Rev. Riegle to us.

I also want to thank the Music Committee for finding Doug Peters as our new choir director, this now gives us a full staff and a point at which we can move forward.
